Jackie Alves is a beauty educator and the owner of The Beauty Bar, a makeup and skincare studio in Yuma, Arizona, now in its sixth year. She teaches working makeup artists and beauty professionals two things: how to be better at the craft, and how to build a business that gets found and gets booked. She runs a YouTube channel and partners with national beauty brands. Med Spas of Arizona is her guide to the state's medical spas, built so people can find real, well-reviewed care close to home.
Why this directory exists
Thirty years as a makeup artist taught me where beauty really starts. Makeup only works on skin that is healthy and well cared for, and the women I work with feel most confident when their skin is in good shape first. For many of them, a good med spa is where that care begins. They ask me where to go, and for a long time I had no clear answer. Med Spas of Arizona is the straight answer I wanted to hand them.
I have worked with international makeup brands and with med spa owners, and I am often asked for skincare guidance, including how to care for skin and makeup after a procedure. That is why this directory sits under my name.
Searching for a med spa here means ads and pay-to-rank lists that will not say who performs the treatment. So I built Med Spas of Arizona, listing the state's medical spas by city and the treatments each one offers.
A basic listing is free and stays free, paid placements are clearly marked, and paying never changes the facts shown about anyone else. Owners can claim and correct their listing for free.
Alongside this directory, I run The Business of Beauty, mentoring beauty professionals to build profitable, sustainable businesses.
How listings are vetted
Every med spa here comes from public business records and the spa's own website, not from paid placement. We keep businesses that are open and carry real Google reviews.
For each spa we record the treatments it offers, from injectables and laser to body contouring, medical weight loss, IV therapy, and hormone care, so you can compare on what actually matters. Where a spa's own words do not confirm a treatment, we mark it as not stated rather than guess.
Right now that is 1,446 med spas in 40 Arizona cities, last refreshed 2026-11-07.
Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or you want your business removed, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
